Transportation Powers Modern Society.
It allows us to commute to a downtown skyscraper for work and traverse the globe for an exotic beach vacation. Yet there are challenges inherent to this awesome advancement. Namely, transportation is one of the key drivers of energy consumption. With the world’s population and vehicle usage surging, these challenges have become more pressing. It’s as important as ever that we develop sustainable vehicles and transport infrastructure to bring lasting efficiencies to modern mobility.
Shell and WP BrandStudio co-created a groundbreaking multimedia program that builds awareness by pulling back the curtain on those efforts. In a 2-part series we created a rich narrative with eye-catching illustrations that visualize some of the most salient, impactful facts seeded in the story. From investing in electric infrastructure to developing novel biofuels to sourcing the material that allows for lighter, more efficient vehicles, we portrayed Shell as the energy giant working to make getting around better for the world.
I acted as the creative lead overseeing artist selection, the development of the user experience, engineering, and content distribution. It’s worth noting that this first execution for Shell exceeded all key performance benchmarks for branded content at the Post and also surpassed all client KPI’s.

Responsive multimedia EXPERIENCE
We designed and developed a responsive experience where readers consumed the content across the Washington Post’s owned and operated platforms.
