To promote the Movie Geostorm, Warner Brothers and Thinkingbox created an interactive experience that let users control their local climate over Google Street View panoramic images. Our team designed a Discovery user experience that wrapped the Geostorm interactive with original branded content and editorial pieces that thematically aligned with genres specific to the network. I produced several original videos that covered natural disasters and branded editorial pieces that explored topics like "The History of Weather Control" and "How to Survive Any Storm." The content was distributed across Facebook through vertical video, Facebook Instant, and link posts that drove viewership back to Discovery.com. Below is a video of the UX.
DIGITAL STREAMING EXPERIENCE
The Discovery Geostorm experience used WebGL and the Google Image API for enabling weather control in your own neighborhood. We collaborated with the studio to develop the opening animation sequence, navigation, branded content, and editorial pieces.

We designed a series of images that complemented each section of editorial content that were also leveraged for promotion on social media.
Advertising
A suite of HTML5 media and innovative video solutions were targeted across devices and platforms to promote and drive awareness of the digital experience.
